Rite Aid and CVS: $35.58 worth of products for $9.36!

I had a FANTASTIC shopping trip to Rite Aid and CVS today and I just had to share! I am still learning a little bit every time I hit the stores to save, and I want to share what I learn in hopes that I can help you all save more too! Here's a picture of my loot and the breakdown:

To the left is what I purchased at Rite Aid. I broke this trip into three transactions and actually have $3.50 in +UP Rewards left over to spend on another trip!

Transaction #1: Dove Deodorant on sale 2/$4, receive $2.00 +UP Reward, plus I had $2/1 Dove Deodorant coupon from a recent Sunday insert, making both of these essentially FREE after Rewards and Coupon!
Nice and Easy Color Foam, $7.99, receive $1.00 +UP Reward, plus I had the Facebook coupon for a FREE one, so I actually MADE $1.00 after Rewards and coupon!

(Out of pocket this transaction: $2.00, received $3.00 in +UP'S, $1.00 money maker!)

Transaction #2: Colgate Toothpaste, sale $3.50, receive $3.50 +UP Rewards, limit 2.
I bought 2 @ $7.00 total, had two coupons for .50 and .75 off any Colgate toothpaste (total q's $1.25), plus I used the $3.00 in +UP's from Trans. #1.

(My O.O.P this transaction $2.75, plus I received $7.00 total in +UP's! If you subtract the $3.00 in Rewards that I spent, I still made $1.25 on this transaction!)

Transaction #3: Olay Body Wash $5.99, Olay Complete Moisturizer, $8.99, register gave markdown of $6.74. I had the coupon for B1 Olay Body Wash, Get 1 Olay Complete Moisturizer FREE. Now, the coupon said limit: $6.00 on the free moisturizer, but the cashier apparently didn't see that, or the fact that the register discounted the moisturizer because I got credit for $8.99 for the coupon! I then used $3.50 in +UP's from transaction #2.

(My O.O.P this transaction ended up being .24! That is a personal best!!)

I still have a $3.50 +UP to spend next time also! So, all told my total O.O.P for the whole trip was $5.49. The total before coupons and +UP's spent was $29.72 and that's SALE prices! If you count the extra $3.50 I left with, I actually saved $27.73!

To the right is what I purchased at CVS.
Transaction #1: Vitamin Water on sale 3/$3, get $1.00 Extra Bucks WYB 3.
$3.00 O.O.P, Received the $1.00 ECB, Making total $2.00.

Transaction #2: King Size Resee's Cup on Sale .99, King Size Mini Resee's on sale .99, Puffs on sale .88. Had coupon B1 Recees or Hershey bar King, G1 Hershey Drop or Mini Resee's King for FREE. Then I used that Extra Buck, bringing the total O.O.P to .87.

Total CVS trip: $5.86 before coupons and BUCKS, total O.O.P $3.87.

So, if we add up the GRAND TOTAL for both trips, before coupons and store rewards, my total would have been $35.58. I ended up spending $9.36 O.O.P and I even have $3.50 left over to spend at Rite Aid next time! Pretty Cool huh?
